We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer for an assignment in the energy sector, focusing on further developing, maintaining, and strengthening central IT platforms. You will be part of a team with both junior and senior colleagues in an environment with very high demands on availability, security, and stability, where the platforms are mission-critical and security classified.

In this role, you will combine operational responsibility with technical deep expertise and architectural understanding. The work includes both hands-on operations and development of the platforms, as well as more analytical and planned efforts such as change management, long-term maintenance, and documentation. On-call duty (24/7) according to a rotating schedule is included.

• Operate, manage, and further develop OpenShift 4-based container platforms in a cluster environment
• Operate and manage Kafka platforms for mission-critical systems
• Install, configure, and upgrade OpenShift, Kubernetes, and related platform components
• Work with incident management, troubleshooting, and coordination of actions (2nd and 3rd line support)
• Plan and execute upgrades, improvements, and changes
• Establish new environments and clusters as needed
• Work with CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code
• Contribute to IT security work, including risk and vulnerability assessments and security-related improvements
• Coordinate and conduct tests
• Document systems, architecture, and operational and management instructions
• Provide support and advice to internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to knowledge transfer and mentorship within the team

• Senior experience in operating mission-critical and security-classified IT infrastructure
• Deep expertise in OpenShift 4
• Very good competence in Kubernetes
• Experience with Kafka platforms
• Experience with monitoring, including Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code
• Ability to work with incident management and troubleshooting in 2nd/3rd line
• Ability to undergo and be approved in a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not accepted)
